Elven Ranger Faune and Elly (8-9-15)

"Faune & Elly," Ink & Marker on 8 1/2" x 11" Bristol
Ebay Item # 281769859561

This one has been in the works for quite a while.  To recap, when we first encountered Elly, she was certainly antagonistic, having captured our dear elven ranger for the amusement of some unseen villain.  In her second appearance, we saw her having a change of heart and smuggling Faune out of a dungeon.  In the third piece to feature both of these characters, it was Elly who was in trouble, and Faune was attempting to return the favor and rescue her from the Spider Queen.  I'd planned many months ago to draw a fourth piece that would depict both ladies finally taking a break and getting to know each other better, and here it is.

  2. No Picarto? Have you decided that it's more trouble than it's worth?

    1. Not to worry, more Picarto time is coming soon. But the in-laws are in town this week, so I'm just getting things done on the sly when I can. More on the way!

  3. Wonderful orchestration of the full range of values to create a sweet intimate scenario. There is a richness in the value structure that strongly complements the growing attachment these two have for one another. Very positive...and oh yeah, nice fit too...

    1. Thanks! Yes indeed, the values were what I was mostly concerned with for this piece. Well, that and finding a reason to have Faune's head between Elly's boobs.

    2. Reasons? We don't need no reasons...
