Kelli & Anya's TV Time (9-27-14) SOLD

"Kelli & Anya," Ink & Marker on 8 1/2" x 11" Bristol, $50

I thought to myself that we don't normally see Kelli restrained in heavy fetish leather, and that could be changed.  So, where to put her?  Well, a couch would be long enough.  So, what else could we do with Kelli in leather on the couch?  Then I remember that she's picked on Anya a time or two...

Bondage Noir?

I just posted something new over on Ebay.  Originally, this was supposed to be an experiment with ink and a crow-quill pen.  I was just talking to a good friend yesterday about trying this technique and thought today would be as good a day as any.  However, I'm thinking the ink bottle I've had in my studio may have separated out while waiting for me to try it, as all I could get was a weak gray color.  So, I decided to use the technical pens and markers I use everyday, and try to make it look like it would if I could ink it with the other material.  I like the way it turned out, and like most things on here, if you guys like it I'll make more, so check it out and let me know what you think!

Sasha's Pole Position (9-24-14) SOLD

"Sasha," Ink & Marker on 8 1/2" x 11" Bristol, $35

They say that fall's arrived, so it seemed like a good time for Sasha to make an appearance in the hat, boots, and coat outfit that she started out with.  As for the position she's in, well, it is what it is!

Meanwhile, Tobie and I updated the "Andy's Studio" site today with a nice finished piece of Millie in her pony gear, with some upgrades suggested by a long-time supporter of our work.  There's over fifty illustrations and sketches there you've probably never seen, so grab your key in our online store and click on the link above to check it out!

"Andy's Studio" is Now Open!

Over the last few years, Tobie and I have been asked many times about setting up another way for people to support our work, such as Kickstarter, Patreon, a traditional “paysite,” or an online “tip jar.”  A lot of folks would prefer digital content to something mailed to their door, or would like a way to contribute a little bit at a time. But we really don’t want to take anyone’s money without having something of value to offer in return, so we finally came up with a plan.

We’ve set up “Andy’s Studio,” and you can can get your own “key to the studio” from our online store on the right.  This month's key will be good through the end of October.  Inside, we’ll keep posting a lot of the things we’ve been asked for, such as new art, rough sketches, and an archive of the pieces that appear briefly on Ebay.  We’ve got a good start there now, and we’ll keep updating it once each day or two.  So let us know what you’d like to see, and thanks for your support!

Faune 14" x 17" Super Special! (9-19-14) SOLD

"Faune," Ink & Marker on 14" x 17" Bristol, $200

All right, so yes, I've been back to work for the last few days, and this is the biggest reason why I still haven't posted anything until now.  I made a rough sketch for this, intending to draw it as a small-format monochrome piece, and decided it needed to be bigger, and in color.  So, here it is!  I'm not sure who Faune's two new friends are, but I'm thinking they should appear again.  In particular, that girl on the right looks like she needs a taste of her own medicine, eh?

Dee T-Shirts on eBay!

"Dee" T-Shirt #1, Screen Printed by Andy on 100% Cotton

Well, the in-laws have gone home, though we did appreciate their help.  So, what was I to do while they were here?  Just before they arrived, I drew up a quick top and shorts to add to the Dee piece I did back in July.  Then while they were here, I worked on getting it ready to print on a batch of nice heavyweight t-shirts.  It's the first time we've tried digitally separating a color image into patterns of tiny halftone dots, which allowed us to print this with red, yellow, blue, and black screens, and it worked!  It's a bit different from the traditional "process" separation using cyan, magenta, yellow, and black.  Instead, it's "simulated process" using colors that are more specific to the art.  Anyway, not too shabby for a first test, eh?

Status Update

Hi, guys!  I just wanted everyone to know that things are going well.  Tobie had her surgery yesterday, and everything went as it should.  While they were in there, the surgeons discovered that she also had a case of endometriosis, a nasty condition where material from the uterus escapes into the rest of the pelvis.  So, now we finally know why she's been in increasing degrees of excruciating pain for the last couple of years while knuckleheaded doctors told her she was just being a whiny hypochondriac because they couldn't find anything obvious.  Jerks.  Anyway, she'll be coming home later today and things should start settling down to normal.  Thanks to everyone for the good wishes!

Paddled Maisey in Color (9-6-14) SOLD

"Maisey," Ink & Marker on 8 1/2" x 11" Bristol, $60

Wow, where have I been?  Well, we finally finished the big screen printing job, then took a couple more days to make improvements on our equipment and technique based on what we've learned.  But it's back to art for a while, with the exception of a few days next week as Tobie will be going in for surgery.  But we'll still get a few things done here and there, and then it'll be back to business once she's back home.
