Bad Day for Eleanor

Upper control arm in center, broke-off end visible at the very top.
Yeah, I don't think I like the "lowered look" on this one.

I guess Mondays are Mondays, even for full-time artists!  This morning I loaded up a few boxes of CD sets in my trusty '73 Mach 1 to take to the post office, and made it three blocks before the upper right control arm sheared in two, collapsing the suspension.  Woke me right up!  One thing I love about driving old cars is that they usually give you a little warning sign before something breaks.  One thing I hate is when I ignore those warning signs, and the poor girl finally has to give up.  The front right suspension had a squeaky noise that was there when I bought this car two years ago, and I kept thinking I'd fix it "one of these days."  So, nobody's fault but mine!  Anyway, she broke at 35 mph and got a little wild, but I managed to keep her under control and get off the road.  Guess I'd better get back to work!

Mona After Hours (4-23-14) SOLD

"Mona," Ink & Marker on 8 1/2" x 11" Bristol, $44.95

So I was looking at some junk mail that was on its way to the trash, and noticed an advertisement for a "cowl neck sweaterdress."  I've been wanting to start making improvements to the girls' wardrobes, so I thought that Mona should have one of those.

New CD Archive Sets Are Here! Vol. 1-4, $39.95

Archive CD Volumes #1-4, Complete Set $39.95

They're finally here!  Tobie and I are really excited about these.  After months of work, we now have sets of CD-ROM discs containing the first 396 illustrations of "Andy's Dames!"  Each disc contains 100 illustrations organized in a snappy image gallery for easy viewing (thanks to our good pal who helped with that).  There are new, previously-unreleased pieces in here, and to make it even better, there are four pieces of guest art by traditional artists Lon Ryden and M.J. Bivouac to round this out to an even 400 images of bondage, fetish, and cheescake art!  Grab one from the "eBay store" link on the right, or email me directly and we'll get them headed your way!

Dee Shows Her Wares (3-8-14) SOLD

"Dee," Ink & Marker on 8 1/2" x 11" Bristol, $44.95

Well, I wish I could be as productive this week as I was the week before, but at least there's this!  Granted, I've done something similar with Dee before, but I do like the look.

Millie on the Fainting Couch (3-1-14) SOLD

"Millie," Ink & Marker on 8 1/2" x 11" Bristol, $39.95

Okay, so laugh all you want, but I'm going to reveal one of my favorite sources for aesthetic inspiration.  When Tobie started to plan for our wedding, she had freebie subscriptions to bridal magazines.  So, we chucked the copies that had the stinky perfume advertisements, and put the remaining issues in my studio.  Come on, think about it!  Three hundred pages of gorgeous girls with gorgeous dresses and gorgeous hair posing in gorgeous settings, all lavishly photographed with great composition and lighting.  What's not to like about that?
