  4. Oh my, indeed. And most entertaining...the checkered floor reminds me of the old 60s tv show "The Prisoner", which had it's own share of fetishistic contrivances and situations. Millie here would fit right in!

  5. Funny. Rather than being reminded of the Patrick McGoohan show (which is my all time favorite), I was reminded of *Checkmate*, the old Sebastian Cabot mystery series. And I must admit, "Checkmate" wouldn't be an altogether bad caption for the wonderful piece either.

    Indeed, "Checkmate" as a caption would be tough to top. If I am not mistaken, one of the episodes of "The Prisoner" was entitled "Checkmate" as well, so I guess all told it is kismet!
